What it is #

Skimline is a flying game you play with one finger or one key. Your disc skims along a band of walls and gaps: hold to climb, let go to glide back down. The coins mark the safe line through every route. One hit ends the run, so each try is short, and one tap puts you back in the air.

Routes are numbered and never run out. A route's number sets how hard it is, and its layout is drawn anew every time you play, so a second try at the same route never plays the same way. As you get further, new obstacles and enemies join in, each one introduced with a short line the first time you meet it.

  • A hit on a wall or an enemy ends the run, even on the first route. A shield absorbs one hit.
  • The coins you collect are kept even when you crash. Spend them in the store on shields, upgrades and new looks for your player, its trail and the background.

Modes #

  • Routes: numbered routes that get harder as you go, in worlds of ten, each world with its own colours and music. Every route has three stars: finish it, collect every coin, and finish it on the first try.
  • Daily route: one route a day, the same for every player. A new one arrives at midnight UTC.
  • Endless: one run that keeps getting harder until you crash. Your score is how far you flew.

Free, with no account #

Skimline is free to play and needs no account and no download. It works on phones, tablets and computers.
